The Excellence Awards ceremony for licensed Foreign Employment Agencies was held under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on Tuesday afternoon. A total of 254 foreign employment agencies recommended by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing received excellence awards at this ceremony. The President also handed over awards to foreign employment agencies that had won five star awards. This awards ceremony organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing was held for the second time this year. Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Minister Dilan Perera, Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Monitoring MP Upeksha Swarnamalini, Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Foreign Employment Promotion and Welfare Ministry Secretary Nissanka Wijeratne, Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau Chairman Amal Senalankadhikara and Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency chairman Senaka Abeygunawardena were also present on the occasion.
